Read "Sinners in the Hand of An Angry God" & bio by Jonathan Edwards on pages 77 - 81. Then read "Rappaccini's Daughter" by Hawthorne. For Journal #5, compare and contrast, the two stories. Be sure to focus on Hawthorne's beliefs versus traditional Puritanism.
